CARE PORTAL FOR LIFE

p

Luke 10:33

“A certain Samaritan, being on his journey, came near him: and seeing him, was moved with compassion.”

Our Mission

Our parish is proud to support a new program called CarePortal to deepen our efforts to support foster children and women/couples in crisis pregnancies. CarePortal connects the needs of children in our community to churches who can help. Our local CarePortal representatives aim to meet one family’s needs per month. All CarePortal requests are input and thereby vetted by social service agencies and pregnancy resource centers for authentic needs.

We are asking our parish community to support our efforts in fulfilling these requests throughout the year. You can get involved by signing up to purchase material goods for families in need, by volunteering to deliver the materials, or by making a monetary gift to our parish’s CarePortal fund. Monetary gifts made through the CarePortal system will be used only to purchase items that cannot be provided otherwise (donation tax receipts provided by CarePortal).

This project will give our community the opportunity to truly walk with families in need. We hope you will join us on this new journey and appreciate your support.
