RCIA is the program under which the Church welcomes those persons seeking full communion in the Catholic faith through the sacraments of initiation, namely, Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. RCIA is a program of discernment and instruction in which you will be introduced to the beliefs and practices of the Catholic faith.
The RCIA introduces the Catholic faith to non-Catholics and those with no formal Christian instruction, including those who may have been baptized Catholic but have not had the opportunity to participate in a faith formation program leading to First Communion and/or Confirmation.
Who can participate?
RCIA for adults invites anyone over the age of 18 interested in searching the Catholic faith to discover what the Catholic Church teaches and believes. Please note that in order to participate, you must first register with our parish in addition to registering for the RCIA class.
We ask candidates and catechumens to pay $25 for the books, handouts, and other materials you will receive. If you cannot pay all or part of the fee, please let us know. Inability to pay the fee will not preclude anyone from attending.
