Sweet flowers are used to beautify the Altar. Jesus loved flowers and all things beautiful. He has told us to “consider” them—St. Matt. VI, 28. Because flowers are beautiful and testify to the bounty and goodness of God, they are especially appropriate for decoration in the House of God.
